Delivery schedule:
We usually despatch within the two days following your order, ie a Friday order may not go out until Tuesday, and then you need to allow a little time for delivery.

Typical delivery times - UK 3-5 working days.
Europe uptown 30 working days.
USA & Rest of World unto 30 working days.

The availability of items are as shown on the website you were browsing and buying through. Sometimes goods do sell out on other sites and we update our data as quickly as possible to reflect this. In the event of stock being unavailable we will let you know.

Return policy;
We want you to be happy. Very happy. If you don't like the item when it arrives, just let us know, and arrange to send it back within thirty days. We'll cheerfully refund your purchase price. Just remember to pack as well as we do.

International delivery time vary by destination. Please allow upto 30 days, though it can often be much quicker.

We trade books according the rules of the I.L.A.B. (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) of which we are a member. Prices are net. Shipping is not included. We charge shipping costs at the rates of the Belgian Postal Services. In our order confirmation we state the actual costs. Books can be returned within 10 days after delivery with our explicit consent if they do not correspond to the description. As payment we only accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express. or IBAN banktransfer. For orders with a value over 500 EURO other payment methods can be arranged but this needs to be settled when placing the order. Customers of the European Community can also pay with a direct transfer to my bank account in Antwerp (Belgium). Account number: 320-0402327-41. IBAN BE 88 320 040 232 741, BIC BBRUBEBB . Please note that a returned book should be sent to WIM DE GOEIJ Postbox 520 NL-4645 ZW PUTTE The Netherlands. INSURANCE: The goods travel at the risk of the buyer. Extra insurance can be arranged for at prime cost but should be asked for when ordering.

We handelen in antiquarische boeken volgens de regels van de I.L.A.B. (Internationale Vereniging van Antiquaren)waarvan we lid zijn. Prijzen zijn netto. Verzendkosten zijn niet inbegrepen. We berekenen de verzendkosten volgens de tarieven van de Belgische Post. De exacte verzendkosten worden in onze bestelbevestiging opgegeven. Bestelde boeken kunnen teruggestuurd worden binnen 10 dagen indien ze niet overeenstemmen met de beschrijving en na ons expliciet accoord. Als betaling aanvaarden we Visa, Mastercard, American Express en IBAN bankoverschrijving op onze bankrekening te Antwerpen : 320-0402327-41. IBAN BE 88 320 040 232 741, BIC BBRUBEBB. Nous gérons notre librairie suivant les règles du L.I.L.A. (Ligue Internationale de la Librairie Ancienne), dont nous sommes membre. Les prix sont net. Les frais de port ne sont pas inclus. Nos tarifs pour les envois sont ceux de la Poste Belge. Les frais exacts sont communiqués dans notre acceptation de commande. Un livre commandé peut être retourné s'il ne corresponds pas à la description, seulement dans un délai de dix jours après la réception et avec notre accord explicit. Uw retourrecht voorwaarden
Een consument mag de koop van producten zonder opgave van redenen binnen 14 werkdagen na aankoop van het product ontbinden. Indien de consument van deze ontbindingsmogelijkheid gebruik maakt, dient hij dat volgens de op de website van Boekhandel De Slegte beschreven retourprocedure aan Boekhandel De Slegte te melden en het product binnen 14 werkdagen na de datum van ontbinding op zijn kosten aan Boekhandel De Slegte te retourneren. Het door de consument betaalde aankoopbedrag zal binnen 30 dagen na de ontbinding aan de consument worden terugbetaald. Ontbinding is niet mogelijk ten aanzien van producten die beschadigd zijn, zich niet meer in de originele en onbeschadigde verpakking bevinden, gebruikt zijn of voor verkoop ongeschikt geworden zijn.
Boekhandel De Slegte is gerechtigd om geretourneerde producten die niet meer verkeren in de staat waarin deze aan de consument zijn geleverd, dus inclusief originele verpakking te weigeren en om een eventuele waardevermindering en/of retourverzendkosten op het terug te betalen bedrag in mindering te brengen.
