Following conditions of sale apply:
Terms of Sale

- All books are in good condition, unless stated otherwise. Minor traces of use might not always be indicated in the description.
- Prices are in Euro and include 6% tax for customers within the EU. Shipping and banking or creditcard costs (when applicable) are extra. We will specify the total amount by e-mail, before shipping the book.
- Books will be shipped after we have received payment. For customers within the EU we prefer payment by bank transfer. Customers from outside the EU can pay by Visa or MasterCard.
- All books remain the property of the seller until the full amount of the invoice has been paid. The books are shipped at the seller's risk. More expensive items are sent by registered and/or insured mail.
-The order can be returned within seven days after receiving it (prior notification by e-mail will be appreciated), after which you will get a refund, excluding shipping costs. When the shipment is returned because of a flawed description, the shipping costs are to be paid by the seller. Returned books must arrive in the same condition as in which they was sent. Return shipments are at the sender's risk.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

- Alle boeken zijn compleet en in goede staat, tenzij anders vermeld. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet altijd aangegeven.
- Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en inclusief btw. Verzendkosten, bank- en creditcardkosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.
- Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel met met factuur worden geleverd. Betaling kan geschieden via bank- of giro-overschrijving, of via credit card (Visa, MasterCard). Klanten binnen de EU verzoeken wij vriendelijk geen gebruik te maken van creditcard, maar het bedrag over te maken op één van onze rekeningen.
- Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Deze behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen na overleg te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper.
- Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld!), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt.
- Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden waren. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

I try to answer all emails within 24 hours. If ordering by phone you may get the answer machine. Please leave your name, phone number, the author & most importantly my reference number for the book.
Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.

I accept the following methods of payment, cheques in £sterling, UK postal orders, IBAN, cash if sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed (or your own country's insured & signed-for post), PayPal, plus credit cards via PayPal. Please note cheques should be made to G. Barnes-Lawrence.

I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
