Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn compleet en verkeren in goede staat, tenzij anders beschreven. Kleine gebreken, zoals een ingeplakte ex-libris of een naam op het schutblad, zijn niet altijd vermeld.
Prijzen zijn exclusief verzendkosten. Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling.
Betaling kan geschieden via IDEAL of bankoverschrijving. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen veertien dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (zonder verzendkosten) volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto terugbetaald.
Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

Terms of Sale

We require payment in advance of shipping, except where a regular account has been created (Academic Libraries only). We always post 1st class and Airmail, every weekday! All shipping quotes are based on fast efficient service with the best possible packaging. Insurance or tracking is available on all packages subject to an extra charge.
Standard delivery charge is based on average weight of books - about 0.9Kg. Heavy items (over 1.5Kg) may require extra postage depending on destination. We'll e-mail you if necessary. Contact us direct with any queries, special requests or quotes for specific orders.
We accept all credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express etc), £, $ and € bank transfers, Paypal, cheques etc.

Refunds

Returning unwanted goods
7 days to cancel purchase for non-faulty goods

In the EU, you have the right to cancel your on-line purchase within seven working days.

This seven-day “cooling off” period begins on the day when you receive your purchase.

You can choose to cancel your order for any reason within this time frame – even if you simply changed your mind.

We will give you a refund within 30 days. This refund must include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase.

Although you have a right of refund, you will have to pay the postage costs of shipping goods bought on-line back to us.

Worldwide returns:

Our voluntary returns guarantee: You may return, for a full refund, any item ordered from us within 30 days of receipt, provided it is in perfect condition.

Please contact us to obtain a returns authorisation by completing and returning this cancellation form, emailing (books@psychobabel.co.uk) or telephoning +44(0)1235 861411. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, unless we delivered it to you in error or it is faulty. It is your responsibility to ensure safe return of the item.

If you return a high-value item, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service. Once we've received your item, we'll refund the same means of payment as you used to make your purchase. This returns guarantee doesn't affect your statutory rights and therefore doesn't affect your right of cancellation described above.
Emails are usually answered within 24 hours, except at weekends.
Shipping/Delivery Times
We ship orders from Monday to Friday and all orders received and paid for before 3:00pm are sent the same day. Orders placed on weekends or Bank Holidays are shipped the following business day.

UK packages are sent via Royal Mail. International orders are shipped via Royal Mail's airmail service. Expedited courier deliveries can be arranged. Please contact us for a quote.

Heavy orders (over 5kg UK or international) are usually shipped via private couriers. If your order is for a particularly heavy book or a volume set, please contact us with your shipping address and we will quote your total cost - the price of your order plus shipping costs - before you place your order.
Postal Insurance and special delivery is available at extra cost - simply let us know and we'll quote your total order amount, including p&p for whatever service you require.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

- De aangeboden boeken verkeren ­ tenzij anders vermeld - in goede staat; gebruikssporen inherent aan een tweedehands boek zijn niet vermeld.
- Boeken kunnen vrijblijvend worden ingezien.
- Bestellingen worden behandeld in volgorde van binnenkomst .
- De besteller ontvangt na ontvangst van de bestelling een bevestiging van het verschuldigde bedrag inclusief BTW en verpak-, verzendkosten.
- Wanneer u het boek zelf op komt halen gelden geen verpak of verzend kosten.
- Bestelde boeken worden 14 dagen voor u gereserveerd; is na 14 dagen uw betaling niet (volledig) ontvangen, dan vervalt de reservering.
- Betalingen op ABN-Amro rekening nummer 57.74.30.068 ten name van De Woudduif in Hoogezand.

When we have the money we send the books
Wanneer wij het geld hebben ontvangen verzenden wij de boeken.
- De boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper tot volledige betaling is ontvangen.
- Indien een boek niet overeenkomt met de omschrijving, verwachtingen kan het boek binnen een week op kosten van de koper worden teruggezonden. Na ontvangst van uw retourzending storten wij de prijs van het teruggestuurde boek op uw rekening.
- Wanneer u tweedehands boeken of tijdschriften over hebt kunt u die altijd bij ons inleveren.
- Naast een Antiquariaat heeft onze winkel prachtig (houten) speelgoed en kado artikelen
- Openingstijden: Dinsdag tot en met donderdag 10.00-18.00, vrijdag 10.00-21.00 en zaterdag 10.00-17.00.
