The German edition was translated from the 1936 printing of Pool and Rapid published by Jonathan Cape, London. Haig-Browns literary agent in New York had no record of the number of copies sold. The German edition of Pool and Rapid is a handsome book. Bound by the publisher in green and cream tweed cloth with an eagle tastefully illustrated on the front cover. Illustrated end papers in light green showing deer at the edge of a stream. Top edge yellow. The book is in fine condition.

These larger and heavier books will be sent by Priority International Flat-Rate Box at a cost of $48.00 for books weighing 20 pounds or less. All postage costs are based on what the U. S. Post Office actually charges for overseas shipments, effective May 2008.
