A few stamps inside; pages lightly age-toned and foxed. Binding is a bit limp, but holds well enough for reading purposes. Volume 1 of the British literary magazine CORNHILL (New Series), containing all monthly issues from July through December 1883. Contains installments of THE GIANT'S ROBE by Thomas Anstey Guthrie, and the story PELINO VIERA'S CONFESSION by naturalist William Henry Hudson. Illustrated with occasional black and white engravings, some of which were done by Victorian newspaper illustrator Harry Furniss. Fair .
