Text completely legible. Small octavo, measuring 4 1/2 x 7 inches. Overall in good condition. A famous work on slavery and how it was ended in the British Empire. Clarkson was one of the chief leaders of the Abolitionist Movement in Great Britain and instrumental in the passage of the Slave Trade Act of 1807.
