Smooth spine with gilt title: "Ogborne's County Of Essex". Yellow endpapers. Owner's signature to front endpaper: "Wykeham Chancellor." Title-page with engraved vignette by: " John Ogborne del. et sculp." Dedication to Richard Aldworth, Neville Griffin, Lord Braybrooke, signed: Elizabeth Ogborne. Clear text throughout, just light spotting. VG. ** "Frederic Wykeham Chancellor (1865-1945 - Architect). He was articled to his father, Frederic Chancellor of Chelmsford and London, from 1885 to 1889, remaining as assistant until 1893 when he was taken into partnership.
