Polished brown leather spine and corners over marbled boards in very good condition. Spine with 5 raised bands, gilt titles and publication date. Armorial ink stamp to verso of the front board: "A. Steward". Note to front endpaper: "Alfred Shalders ( Cornhill Ipswich. Bought this book at the auction of Mrs. Steward (deceased) No. 27 Henly Road Feb 20th, 1874". Light foxing and off-setting to the illustrations, otherwise cleat text on lightly toned paper.
