On this plate several characters from art and literature that presented horns. On the left is the famous Moses by Michelangelo in San Pietro in Vincoli, Rome. Within the book possibly the explanation of the illustration. Etching and engraving on paper with margins; plate mark: 288 x 367 mm; total: 346 x 422 mm. In very good condition, despite some light foxing along the margins. In passepartout.
