after Rademaker, Abraham (1676/77-1735) - Huis te Schagen 1612.

View on the so-called Huis te Schagen as it supposedly looked in 1612. Drawing after a print by Rademaker. Some fishermen on a boat towards the foreground. The second boat more to the right in the print was not included in the drawing. The drawing is larger than the original print and the amateur artist added some vegetation in the foreground. Inscribed below, in pencil: Huis te Schagen 1612 and in pen and brown ink: Le Chateau de Tresnel en Normandie. This inscription is crossed out with a pencil line. On the verso, on the top with the same handwriting as the last inscription described: Anselme Seigneur de Tresnel also crossed out with pen and blue ink and further corrected below in: Huis te Schagen 1612. Drawing on paper, pencil, pen and grey ink, washed in grey. Total: 178 x 222 mm. On the four corners pin holes with some rust remains. In good condition.
