The crest of IJlst is blank. ca. 1617.This print originates from 'Lodovico Guicciardini, Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi (...), Arnhem, Jan Jansz or Utrecht, Van Herwijck, 1617.' This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Deys 2001. Overall size: 17,7 x 21,8 cm; plate size: 13,6 x 19,4 cm. Overall in good state. Some age related discolouration. Handlaid paper. Printed text about Ilst, Sloten, Worcum and Hindeloopen in Dutch on the verso of the print.
