With explanatory caption throughout the plate. ca. 1617.This print originates from 'Lodovico Guicciardini, Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi (...), Arnhem, Jan Jansz, 1617.' This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Deys 2001. Overall size: 16 x 21 cm; plate size: 13,4 x 18,6 cm. Good state. Age related discolouration and two small repaired tears in the margins. Handlaid paper. Printed text (t'Hertochdom van Gelder) and margin decoration on the verso of the print.
