Terms of Sale

Payment with order is required from individuals, though libraries will be accommodated. Items are offered subject to prior sale. New York State residents please add sales tax to your purchases. All items are guaranteed authentic and as described.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards are accepted. If payment is to be made by check, checks must be drawn in US Funds on a US Bank with notification that payment has been mailed. We also accept payment through PayPal. Our PayPal account is: books@bluemountainbooks.com

All purchases are subject to your approval and are returnable within 7 days.

Postage:
USA - Domestic shipping via media mail within the USA is $3.75 for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book or item. Priority mail shipping is $15.10 for the first book and $5.00 for each additional book or item.
INTERNATIONAL – When possible we will ship your item in a Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope for $32.95 USD. Other items will be shipped via International First Class Mail for a parcel weighing 3 lbs or less is $34.50 USD. Items requiring insurance as well as larger and heavier books and multi-volume sets may cost more. We will contact you for your approval when additional shipping is required.

We pride ourselves on thorough descriptions of all of our books. Therefore, all sales are final unless the book is not as described, in which case it may be returned for a refund of the purchase price if received within 10 days (Domestic), 21 days (International) or by other arrangement.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card. We also accept PayPal but must charge 5% of the total to cover those fees., cash (at sender's risk and not preferred).

We also endeavor to be environmentally friendly and use recycled packaging when and how appropriate.

General
All books are complete, at least in good condition and fully described, inclusive all defects. This does not include minor defects such as signature on first page or light damages of cover/ dust wrapper which is common for used books.
Prices are in net amounts, in euros and inclusive 6% VAT. Shipping costs will be calculated to the lowest price possible. If requested in the order form, a total order price will be communicated to the buyer.

Return policy
The buyer has the right to return the books to the seller within 7 days. Notification via e-mail would be appreciated. In case of pre-payments, refund will take place with deduction of shipment costs. In case of payment via invoice, only the shipment costs will be invoiced.
Is the return due to incorrect or incomplete descriptions of the book, the invoice amount + return costs will be refunded. The goods returned, have to be in the same condition as they were to the buyer. The risks of return are for the sender.

Shipment
The ownership of the goods sent will be for the seller until the invoice amount has been paid. The seller has the right to insure the goods for sending. The additional costs for insurance will be invoiced to the buyer.
The risks of shipment are for the buyer.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Algemeen
Alle boeken zijn compleet, tenminste in goede staat en volledig beschreven, inclusief alle gebreken. Hieronder wordt niet verstaan kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad, lichte beschadigingen aan band / stofomslag of leesribbels in de rug, hetgeen normaal is voor gebruikte boeken. Het aanwezig zijn van een stofomslag wordt expliciet vermeld, het afwezig zijn niet.
Prijzen zijn netto, in euro's en inclusief 6% BTW. Verzendkosten, bank- en chequekosten worden doorberekend. Desgewenst kunt u in uw bestelling een prijsopgave van het totaalbedrag vragen.

Wijze van betaling
Nadat het gefactureerde bedrag is ontvangen, worden de bestelde boeken verzonden.
- Factuurbedrag dient binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst voldaan te worden
- Betaling via bankrekening NL47INGB0008461551 t.n.v. M. Timmermans-Puts te Voerendaal.


Retourrecht
Indien de aankoop niet (geheel) naar wens is, kan de koper binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst het bestelde aan verkoper retour zenden. Voorafgaande kennisgeving per e-mail wordt zeer op prijs gesteld, waarna terugbetaling / creditering van de boekenprijs zal volgen.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto terugbetaald c.q. gecrediteerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is voor de afzender.

Verzending
Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van Antiquariaat Coriovallum tot volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaatsgevonden.
Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper.
De verzending van de boeken is voor risico van de koper.

Domestic shipping is by USPS Mail at the rate of $4.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item. International shipping varies by country.

Returns accepted for any reason within 10 days of receipt.
