Attractive contemporary panelled calf, neatly rebacked with a fully gilt spine. Paper generally foxed and browned, small plates a little frayed at the fore-margins, large plate (which is frequently missing or defective) with old repaired tears and some staining, but complete. Includes a chapter on whether the use of tobacco shortens life. In spite of the browning a very sound copy. Please enquire for further details.
