Unique wallet style miniature Bible in full leather still bright but scuffed and two short tears near where the tongue enters the sheath. Despite the title, this volume goes as far as the Book of Job followed by the Book of Psalms. A further section has the Psalms in verse, and a third section has Translations and Paraphrases of Sacred Scripture. All gilt edges, marbled pastedowns, and quite readable. Tight and unmarked but for occasional age spot and a remarkable inscription written in the year of publication, 1815: "Memory of the Battle of Waterloo, Isobel West, Minto Scotland... 1815" ; 1.2 x 3.2 x 5".
