Ink name on title page, additional name blotted nout. Overall in good condition. Text in Latin. A defense of the Jesuit Order (the Society of Jesus) by one of their members. Pallavicino was a highly esteemed academic who was appointed a Cardinal in 1657. His best-known work is his History of the Council of Trent. .
