(Studebaker) - No Rough Riding for the President

(Buffalo), (Gies & Co.), 1902. Unrecorded. Wraps. 24mo; pp. (12); frontispiece portrait of the President and two plates of carriages, The President's Landau and The President's Brougham; original printed beige string tied wrappers. Unrecorded. This appears to be a sales promotional brochure pointing out the President of the United States rides in a Studebaker Carriage. There is a famous letter from TR to J. M. Studebaker discussing his pleasure in using these vehicles. He wrote that he used a Studebaker Wagon in North Dakota in his ranching days and that little Quentin is enjoying his small wagon and that the Roosevelt's are still using Studebaker vehicles today. Very good .
