A single issue of this radical, counterculture underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, formed after a split with the Berkeley Barb over labor issues. The Tribe embraced more radical and left-wing causes. This issue with a half page devoted to the Angela Davis and Ruchell Magee trial; a page devoted to the discovery of 23 bodies in Yuba City; a piece advertising the celebration of the freedom of Black Panther Party members Bobby Seale and Erick Huggins; two full pages of a statement by Ruchell Magee (and Maharibi Muntu) on racism, the right to kill, the justice system, etc.; a piece on Sun Ra, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Some wrinkling and creasing. Moderate browning. Minor soiling. Some chipping and tearing along the extremities. Good .
