Freeport, ME, Bond Wheelwright, (1967). VG in G DJ. Many of these pieces originate from Maine; all have the flavor of New England in them. DJ price clipped, edge wear. Crane's grandmother used to spin sea yarns once a week in a little one-room schoolhouse. Her collection was turned over to him at her death and he added to it steadily especially when he worked at an old-fashioned waterfront store which boasted a loafing room for customers around a pot-bellied stove.
