Loose in binding. First published in 1928, reprinted many times.A lovely example of Interknizhka by one of the most famous Russian children's book authors at this time, Agniya Barto (1906-81). A collection of lullaby poems focused on children from different parts of the world: Chinese, African, Indian and Soviet babies. It was published as part of Proletarian Internationalism which formed the core of the 1920s Communist pedagogical doctrine by showing troubled lives of those living outside the Soviet Union.
