A very scarce bodybuilding manual by Prussian strongman Eugen Sandow (1867-1925). He is credited as the organizer of the first bodybuilding competition, which took place at London's Royal Albert Hall in 1901, and was a physical culture instructor to King George V. This is an undated revised edition of an 1897 publication, ca. 1900. Illustrated with lots of black and white plates. Fair .
