Light foxing, mostly to the endpapers, the contents clean. The leather on the spines is still supple with some rubbing and marking but better than customarily found; the corners are straight, the edge of the rear board of one volume nicked. A Very Good to Near Fine set, lacking the slipcases .

Loveringh en Allart; recorded in: "J.H. Hering, Bespiegeling over Neêrlandsch waternood, tusschen den 14den. en 15den. nov: 1775." The print was also seperate for sale; you can see a stormy situation with almost drowned persons en cattle; on the background right a little farm and on the right a little ship in harshly circumstances. A little discoloured and folded; good copy.
