He then became the head of the Maine Development Commissions Insutrial Development Activity and then an industrial consultant sponsored by Bangor Hydro, Maine Public Service Co., and the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad. He brought to Bangor the Bendey Shoe Co. which employed more than 200 people. He was responsible for bringing Elcon Co. to Caribou, the first electronics plant to locate n Aroostook County.
