We offer FREE Delivery to UK for all orders (UK addresses only). All books shipped within the UK are sent via Royal Mail. Items weighing up to 1 Kg will be shipped to the UK free, via Royal Mail 2nd class - items weighing in excess of 1 Kg will be shipped to the UK free, via Royal Mail 1st class or Royal Mail Standard Parcel. High value books will be shipped in UK via Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery Next Day, or via Parcel Force. All international sales sent via Royal Air Mail or Economy Mail.
Returns & Refunds:
A book may be returned for a full refund of purchase price and postage and packaging if it does not meet the description, as listed. Please note however that we pride ourselves on describing our books as accurately as possible.
Should you wish to return a book, please notify us within fourteen (14) days of receipt and return it in the same condition as received.

The spine ends and corners of the book covers have edge wear, rubbing and nicking. The front cover has torn and is only hanging on by a small bit. The covers and text pages have noticeable toning. The text pages are generally clean. "John Raleigh Mott (May 25, 1865 – January 31, 1955) was an evangelist and long-serving leader of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) and the World Student Christian Federation (WSCF). He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1946 for his work in establishing and strengthening international Protestant Christian student organizations that worked to promote peace. He shared the prize with Emily Balch. From 1895 until 1920 Mott was the General Secretary of the WSCF. Intimately involved in the formation of the World Council of Churches in 1948, that body elected him as a lifelong honorary President.
