Postage and packaging: is charged at cost. All items are posted 1st class / International Tracked. All our packaging is fully recyclable and plastic free.
Unfortunately due to the new shipping regulations that have a significant cost attached we do not ship to Germany or France.Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.


Refunds: will be given if book is not as described, but contact us first via email or telephone.

Book Condition: In common with other booktraders we use the following abbreviations to describe books:
Fine: as new.
VG: one or two signs of having been read, but no serious blemishes, generally very good condition.
Good: o.k., but not very good, signs of ageing or fading or other damage (usually described).
Fair: showing definite signs of wear and tear.
Reading copy: It's all there and it's legible, but that's about all we guarantee.
DJ: dust jacket (if it's not mentioned there isn't one).

Catalogue descriptions are necessarily very brief. Please do contact us should you want further details of any book before purchase, or for advice on our stock.

All books are returnable if the customer is dissatisfied within ten days of purchase. All items are offered subject to prior sale. Payment by PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, or money order or check. Payment with order except for those customers known to us. Libraries and institutions invoiced with shipment. All shipments within the U.S. are made by UPS Ground or USPS. Shipping charges: By USPS media mail, $4 for the first book, $1 for each additional book. By UPS, $7.00 for the first book; $2.00 for each additional book. Larger, heavier items may result in additional shipping charges. Maryland residents must add 5% sales tax. For customers outside of the U.S., shipment will be made only via insured surface or insured airmail, unless the customer specifically requests an uninsured method (i.e., global priority) and specifically assumes all risks for lost shipments. Books are offered subject to availability at time of order.
Items may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Please phone to confirm postal arrangements with us in advance of return.Items are returned at the purchaser's own expense, unless found to be faulty or wrongly described.

Payment must be in Pounds Sterling ( US Dollar/ Euro by negotiation).
All books are posted insured, and postage and insurance are extra.
