Shipping is charged extra at cost and the amount will vary according to the destination, the shipping method and the weight of the books ordered. Please advise us how you would prefer your books shipped at the time of ordering. If ordering from within the UK the cost is likely to be about GBP5.50, and books will usually arrive in 1-3 working days.
If ordering from Europe airmail will be about GBP12.00 - airmail will usually arrive in 3-7 days.
If ordering from North America, or anywhere outside Europe, airmail is likely to cost about GBP18.00 - airmail generally takes about a week, but customs may cause delays.
If you would like to know the exact postage charge, please contact us, and we will let you know before processing your order.
Books are sent by the next available postal collection following receipt of payment. We send mail most week days.
Card payments can be accepted by Visa, MasterCard,AmEx & Maestro. Paypal transfers are accepted to our registered e-mail address (which is books@aucott.co.uk). If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for details.
We also accept payment by Sterling cheques and Sterling International Money Orders (made payable to 'Aucott & Thomas'), or by Euro notes, and US or Australian dollar bills. Non Sterling cheques are not accepted.
All books are published in London, except where stated. Customers are invited to contact us if they would like more information about a particular book - photographs are available for all our books. We always try to be accurate. If an error in description is made, we will refund the full price but please contact us before returning the book.

Payment
We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Switch or Delta. If you wish to pay by cheque the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.
Please ensure that we have your card number, expiry date and name and address that pertains to the card. We will also need the 3 digit code from the reverse of your card. Customers will realise that credit card payments are processed at this end in UK pounds sterling and debited to their own accounts at the current rate of exchange.
Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
Postage
Postage will be charged extra; for both home and abroad deliveries.
For considerations of time and safety, please contact us. All books are checked, and carefully packed before despatch.
Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
If packages are sent via airmail, the package can be insured at the customers expense. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

We accept cheques & money orders in Australian dollars or, if in a foreign currency, with the addition of US$6 equivalent to cover bank currency conversion charges. Verkoopvoorwaarden

1. De boeken verkeren in goede complete staat tenzij anders beschreven.
2. Niet storende onvolkomenheden zijn niet altijd vermeld, zoals bijv. naam op schutblad, naamstempel etc. . U kunt altijd een scan vragen van een bepaald boek.
3. Bestellingen worden in volgorde van binnenkomst afgehandeld.. Het kan voorkomen dat boeken reeds verkocht zijn.
4. Prijzen zijn in euro's, inclusief BTW deze wordt niet apart vermeld (BTW margeregeling) en exclusief portokosten.
5. Portokosten en eventuele bankkosten zijn voor rekening koper.
6. De boeken kunnen ook worden afgehaald in Wormer zonder bijkomende (verzend)kosten.
7. U ontvangt na uw bestelling per E-mail een factuur met opgave van verzendkosten en betalingswijze.
8. Boeken worden tegen vooruitbetaling geleverd. Na ontvangst van uw betaling wordt uw order z.s.m. verzonden. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan op rekening worden geleverd.
9. Betalingen op postbanknummer 3827140 t.n.v. VOF 't Duveltje te Wormer.
10. Betaling kan ook d.m.v. Paypal vanuit niet Euro landen. Creditcard betalingen ook via Paypal Bij betaling met PayPal worden de extra kosten doorberekend.
11. Bestellingen worden 14 dagen gereserveerd. Indien in die periode geen betaling plaats vindt gaat het bestelde weer in de reguliere verkoop.
12. De koper behoudt het recht om de bestelling binnen 7 dagen te retourneren, waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (excl. verzendkosten) zal plaatsvinden. In het geval van onjuiste beschrijving of verborgen gebreken wordt het gehele aankoopbedrag (incl. verzendkosten) vergoed.
13. Bij overschrijding van de betalingstermijn kunnen administratiekosten in rekening gebracht worden.
14. Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling heeft plaatsgevonden.

Payment in advance required for all orders. Post and packing at cost. Please note international surface mail to non-european countries can take upto 8 weeks. Items may be returned for a refund within 28 days (return post only refunded if item is not as described).
