Published on October 11, 1890, depicting Victor Albert George Child Villiers, 7th Earl of Jersey, GCB, GCMG, PC, JP, DL (20 March 1845 – 31 May 1915), a British banker, Conservative politician and colonial administrator from the Villiers family. He served as Governor of New South Wales between 1891 and 1893. Vanity Fair was a British magazine known for its social, political, and literary content. It gained fame particularly for its caricatures of prominent figures of the time. These caricatures, drawn by renowned artists, captured the essence of their subjects with a mix of humor, satire, and artistry. .
