Published on October 24, 1891, depicting Herbert Mornington Cannon (1873–1962), commonly referred to as Morny Cannon, a six-time Champion jockey in the United Kingdom in the 1890s. He holds the records for the most wins by a jockey in the Craven Stakes, Coronation Stakes and Prince of Wales's Stakes. Vanity Fair was a British magazine known for its social, political, and literary content. It gained fame particularly for its caricatures of prominent figures of the time.
