Vincent Brooks, Day & Son (Lith.). Scarce. Published on February 5, 1881, depicting Sir Bache Edward Cunard (5 May 1851 - 4 November 1925) 3rd Baronet. He had inherited the wealth of the Cunard family shipping line, incl. the "Cunard Line" - which owed, among others, the liner "Queen Mary." But he was more interested in polo and fox hunting. Vanity Fair was a British magazine known for its social, political, and literary content. It gained fame particularly for its caricatures of prominent figures of the time. These caricatures, drawn by renowned artists, captured the essence of their subjects with a mix of humor, satire, and artistry. .
