Published on July 3, 1875, depicting Lord Alfred Henry Paget CB (26 June 1816 – 24 August 1888), a British soldier, courtier and Liberal politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1837 and 1865. Vanity Fair was a British magazine known for its social, political, and literary content. It gained fame particularly for its caricatures of prominent figures of the time.
