Description: Holland, 18th century. Blank sheet of laid paper countermarked with initials GR in a wreath, underneath a crown. "GR" stands for "Guilhelmus Rex," King William, who reigned from 1751 to 1795. Similar to Heawood 474. 7-3/4 X 12-3/4 inches; 19.7 X 32.4 cm. Edge tattered where removed from binding.
