Description: Oxford: ND. Six blank sheets of laid paper folded into pages and nested. Not sewn. Verso watermarked with figure of Britannia, or Seated Victory, set in a cartouche, surmounted by the Crown of England. Similar to Heawood 215, but with no motto. Recto countermarked "Emberlin." The Emberlin family ran a papermill at Deddington near Oxford from around 1767 to 1873. 15-1/2 X 12-1/2 inches; 39.5 X 32.5 cm. Slight sunning at edges but paper is still bright. Very Good Plus.
