Description: Zaandyk, Holland: Second half of 18th century. Blank sheet of laid paper countermarked Honig & Zoon, Dutch papermakers active in Zaandyk in Holland in the second half of the eighteenth century. Similar to Heawood 3344, but there "Zoonen." 9-3/4 X 16 inches; 25.3 X 40.3 cm. Some writing in black ink appears to have been scraped off. A rule has been embossed 2-1/2 inches from the right edge. Slight soiling and handling wear. Chipping and creasing at lower right corner. Good. Note: Images have been manipulated to display watermarks, and do not represent the true color of the paper. .
