All in rather fragile bindings with boards scuffed, corners heavily rubbed, joints fully cracked but with boards still attached, spines rubbed with small leather losses and tears at ends and near joints, with occasional wormhole and loss of head and/or tailband; Tomes I-III all with cut and pasted engraved title pages, "Tome II" partially hand-written; interiors with light to moderate toning, light scattered foxing, damp staining, and with occasional writing, wormhole, small repair, light grime, and small paper loss/edge chip/fraying; first volume with first free endpaper partially detached, third volume with small area of damage at tail edge; an overall good set with most pages clean except for typical age wear..OCLC Number / Unique Identifier: 436371213 for later editions. .
