Settled in Florida, 1942. Died 1974 in Stuart, Florida. N.C. Matthewson was an inventor and the founder of the Made-Rite Company in Marshall, Texas, From the collection Natalie Williams, sister-in-law of Matthewson of Marshall, Texas, one of the owners of the Made-Rite Company and a patroness of artists and an art donor to Texas A & M University. .
