Description: London: Circa 1932. Original photographs, both inscribed, one with "What a shirtmaker" to Harry Bacon. 8.75 x 6.75 inches. The National Library of Scotland mentions a 1932 film entitled FILM OF GLASGOW with a segment: "Peggy, Moro, and Shan. female ballroom dancer and two male partners on stage, performing lifts (17.00);" London Musicals 1930-1934 mentions the 1931 play Blue Roses with "the speciality acrobatic act of Peggy, Moro and Delso. " This is Harry Bacon, the preeminent London shirtmaker and the brother of Max Bacon. Before becoming a character actor, Max Bacon was one of the most significant drummers in Britain during the 1920s and 30s. He wrote Max on “Swing" (1934). .
