The Treasure of the Angoulême Cathedral, begun in 2008 and completed in 2016, is a monumental work by the artist Jean-Michel Othoniel which features more than 200 objects and liturgical sculptures dating for the most part from the 19th century. This project is an order from the Drac Nouvelle-Aquitaine. This book unveils the treasure that unfolds in three rooms and whose objects of worship are magnified in the box designed by the artist. The presentation by Bishop Dagens and the generous text of Adrien Goetz testifies to the importance of this work in the history of cathedrals and in the universe of an artist carried by the sacred.
