First Parisian edition, rarer and more sought-after than the Roman original of 1651, of Bosio's work, translated into Latin and illustrated by Paul ARINGHI with woodcuts in the text and hors-texte etchings, including the frontispiece, and a folded map representing the plan, the sarcophagi and the decorations of the Christian catacombs of Rome.
