Description: [Tahiti: Aug. 9. 1935]. Invitation card in English to Maurice Léon Salzini, a passenger on the H.M.S. Dunedin. Mounted on a sheet with Salzini's comments on the meal , which included the brother of Sir Eric Drummond.. British naval cruiser completed in 1919. She joined the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy in 1923, serving in New Zealand until 1937 before returning to service with the Royal Navy. Provided assistance after the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. Sunk by a German submarine in 1941. See 'New Zealand's naval story' by T D Taylor.
