Two of the books inscribed to Judy Stone, the late movie critic for the San Francisco Chronicle, 1924-2017. One of her three older brothers was I.F. Stone, an investigative journalist famous for his left-wing self-published newsletter, I. F. Stone’s Weekly. He is cited by Conor in his books. .
