Nott [1902-1969] was a fine arts dealer and student of G.I. Gurdjieff. Limited edition - this copy signed and numbered 64 from an unspecified limitation. This exhibition was the official "The House of Jade's" Charity Drive for the 1941 Palm Beach Season for the funds of The American Red Cross and the British War Relief. Contains detailed scholarly descriptions of jade carvings from Chinese dynasties dating from 1766 B.C. to 1912 A.D. 4to, 185pp. 44 plates. Printed on a heavyweight uncoated stock, with plates on a coated stock. Bookplate of Dorothy R. Breen on paste-down endpaper over another bookplate. .
