He was very influential in France's New Left, and considered one of "the most visible Marxists in the capitalist world." (Le Monde, April 4, 1972). Here we have his calling card, measuring 2 x 3 inches, with a handwritten note in ink on the front to Carl Landauer (1891-1983), Professor of Economics, University of California, Berkeley. .
