Description: Sheffield, February 24, 1954. 13 pp. Fay Pomerance, Anglo-Jewish artist born in Birmingham where she studied at the College of Art from 1928-1933. She exhibited in London Shows at the Leicester, Redfern, Molton and Ben Uri Galleries; the Society of Women Artists and the Pastel Society, and other group shows in Canada and New Zealand. Works are in the collections of Hull and Staffordshire Education Committees, Gateshead and Batley Municipal Galleries, the Museums of Israel and in private collections in England, America, Israel and Australia. With tape residue along left front margin. From a collection of letters and papers amassed by illustrator and painter Geoffrey Robinson during his years as a publisher with Rockliff, John Baker, Maclaren, et al. .
