Description: Edinburgh, William P. Nimmo, 1880, 1st Edition. Leather , 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Ill.: Illustrated. Book, 711pp with frontis (busts of poets) and several other plates. Heavily impressed leather binding with some scuffs, but not terrible. wear to corners and head and heel of spine. Title in small gilt and on spine. Raised bands on spine, all edges gilt with slight fade. No date but about 1879/90. Silk tie present but detatched. Small thick volume. Many poets, both American and English, Clare,Hemans, Chaucer, to name but a few. A lovely book, no date of publication, but feels around 1880`. Good/No Jacket.
