Wraps lightly spotted and soiled; staples rusted. The Terror was published in 1929 as a play, the same title was issued in book form in 1930. The latter has a reputation as one of his best thrillers. If not for the first performance this is very early since on page [8] there is a reference to 'The Man Who Was Nobody' ststing 'just out'. The first edition of this title was published in 1927.
