Extremes rubbed with light wear; boards soiled; front hinge-paper partly cracked but binding holding firm; spotting to prelims. * Perhaps a 'transitional' edition. This copy has two of the four lithos found in the de-luxe edition but has a fine plan by Walker, dated 1849, inserted a s a frontipiece - this could have been added later or tipped-in to a new copy sold at the later date.
