Slightest browning to front endpaper. ; The smallest state has one of the most detailed guides (among the American Guide Series) and a good-sized section on the rich history of Rhode Island, as well as the usual tours through interesting landmarks. This later printing is identical with the first edition, including the year on title page and no subsequent printings on copyright page, but was issued without map. This was Florence Simister's copy, her name "Florence Parker Simister" is neatly written on the title page with ballpoint pen. She was a local RI author who wrote the "Streets of the City" series among many other historical books. ; American Guide Series; B&W Photographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; xxvi, 500 pages. Very Good.
