His favourite items are brooches of an experimental nature; he sees them as sculptures in miniature. Not only the colour, but also the shape and the materials play an important part in his selection process. The jewellery itself reflects a variety of themes and highlights the layered nature of the collection. In addition, the jewellery designers Rembrandt Jordan, Dimitar Stankov, Peter Vermandere and Nadine Wijnants will be explaining their work and their special connection to the collector in more depth in a number of filmed interviews.
