Zijn werken zijn te vinden in privécollecties over de hele wereld en behoren tot de collecties van de Hermitage, het Poesjkin Museum, het British Museum, de Koninklijke Bibliotheek van België, het Museum De Reede en het Joods Museum van Brussel. --- Sixty years after his death, painter Kurt Peiser, born in Antwerp(1887-1962), is making a strong comeback in his hometown. From 8 September, Peiser will exhibit simultaneously at gallery Campo & Campo and Museum De Reede. The exhibition ?Kurt Peiser ? Eindelijk Thuis? at Campo & Campo brings together 136 works of all sizes produced by the artist between 1907 and 1961. All the themes the artist dealt with in his career are covered: life in the port, along the Scheldt and North Sea, work, parties, genre scenes, portraits? Although little known to the general public today, Kurt Peiser enjoyed success during his lifetime. In 1924 and 1934, he attended the Venice Biennale. In 1928, he exhibited at the famous Galerie Giroux in Brussels. His works can be found in private collections all over the world and belong to the collections of the Hermitage, the Pushkin Museum, the British Museum, the Royal Library of Belgium, the Museum De Reede and the Jewish Museum of Brussels.
