Very probably it was also Daniel Fourment who asked his famous son-in-law to provide the preparatory oil sketches, modelli and cartoons for the series. This cycle is not a very big project compared with other famous series designed by Rubens. Nevertheless, as Begemann puts is, " the excellence of the oil sketches and the modelli, and the sophistication of the artist's interpretation of the subject, make the series stand out as a major work ". In very good condition.
